It is no secret the holiday’s season is here. Yours truly is excited!

Time for Christmas list, holiday parties, holiday makeup (for me), friends and family.  It is also one of the most traveled times of the year. An with all that is going on this country… Yours truly would like to encourage all of you to be cautious and be happy if the airports security “is” invasive.

Yes, I said “happy if the airports security is invasive”!

As it only means TSA security is doing their job! I mean think about how many times you have probably complained they have not do their job… So, yours truly first suggestion is if you and your loved ones are flying try to arrive to the airport much earlier than you usually would. As the airlines are notorious for long line at security as well as check-in may be a little ridiculous… terrell Owens, Samelia terrell Owens, rouge artists, Holiday travel, Travel, Samelia travel, travel tips, holiday travel tips, Samelia, Samelia's world, Samelia's world blog, samelia holiday travel tips, Holidays and celebrations, Christmas travel, best travel

Which brings me to my next travel tip… Check-in online as it will make your travel experience soo much easier. As you also will find out about your flight status. So definitely stay connected and on top of your travel plans by using travel apps. Which will give you airline alerts etc….

Yours truly did some driving during the Thanksgiving holiday. I would like to highly suggest if you are driving to have “alternate” routes on your holiday drive. Yours truly went through rain, sleet, and snow on that trip (SMH thinking about that). Ha!

Which leads yours truly to my next thought… Make sure to pack food or snacks, for whoever you are traveling. An especially those of you with children like myself. As you never know what is going to happen on your holiday journey. So, yours truly suggest you always be prepared. Some of you may think “Traveling with snacks for the kids and yourself will be a lot… “YES, it can be!”

But, it will save you from headaches!  Yours truly suggest that you all make a family decision on a few snacks you all love, so that it does not become too much!

Next is my favorite so I can block out the craziness in the airport, in the car, and in general. Good ole ear plugs! They are such and easy way to escape. At least for yours truly. Sometimes I ignore my own little one with these things, pretending I do not hear him when the words “Mom, can you buy this? I want this can you pay for this?”

HA! Some of you moms know exactly what I am talking about…

Lastly, do not travel on the busiest travel days. As yours truly understands that some of you have “no” choice, but if you can avoid it… I would!

Okay, enough…

Are any of you head to some great destinations? Let me know by leaving a comment below!

Be safe my lovely world and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
